Your Zurich Airport taxi, waiting when you land.

This is the single most useful thing you can give us, and it takes five seconds. With the flight number we can see when you actually land rather than when you were scheduled to, so a two-hour delay or an early arrival changes nothing for you.

Without it we are guessing, and guessing means either you wait or we do. Send it when you book, and send us a message if you end up on a different flight.

Zurich Airport funnels every arrival into the same place: whichever gate you come through, you walk out into the arrivals hall on Level 1. There are two exits, one for each arrival hall, and which one you use depends on your flight.

We agree the exact spot with you before you travel, and we message you once you have landed so you know where to walk. If you would rather we waited kerbside than inside, that works too, but the hall is usually simpler after a long flight.

We plan to be in the hall before your bags reach the belt. Passport control and baggage reclaim at ZRH are usually quick, but they are not always, and nobody arriving from outside Schengen at eight in the morning should be paying for the queue.

Included waiting time and how it is handled is part of the price we quote you, so you know before you fly. If reclaim goes badly wrong, message us. We would rather know than wonder.

The V-Class was chosen for this. Ski bags, boot bags, a fortnight of suitcases, golf clubs, a pushchair and a car seat. Most of it goes in without anyone having to be clever about it.

Tell us what you are bringing when you book. If it is unusual (a cello, a bike box, six of you and six large cases), we will tell you honestly whether it fits before you rely on us.

The same works in reverse. Tell us your departure time and we will work backwards from it, factoring in the time of day and how long check-in takes for your airline and destination, and agree a pickup time with you rather than making you do that arithmetic at midnight.
