Why a V-Class and not a saloon
A luxury saloon is the obvious choice for one passenger and a briefcase. For almost everyone else it is the wrong shape: someone ends up in the middle seat, the cases go on laps, and a two-hour drive to the mountains becomes an endurance event.
The V-Class trades a little kerbside drama for the thing that matters over distance: space. Everyone gets a proper seat with somewhere to put their legs, the luggage travels behind the passengers, and you can hold a conversation across the cabin without raising your voice.
What comfort means over two hours
Short rides forgive a lot. Long ones do not, and most of our driving is long. The things that matter turn out to be unglamorous: a steady speed rather than a fast one, smooth braking, sensible use of the middle lane, a cabin temperature agreed rather than assumed, and a driver who does not need to talk.
If you would rather have silence, say so and you will have it. If you want to know what the mountain on the left is called, ask.
Working on the move
A transfer to the airport is an hour you were going to lose anyway. In a quiet cabin with a table's worth of space it is an hour of email, a call you did not have to reschedule, or the last read of a deck before you present it.
For business travellers this is usually the whole argument. The ride costs more than the train and gives back the time the train's changes would have eaten.
Occasions
Weddings, anniversaries, a birthday dinner, an opera night. The appeal is partly the car and mostly the logistics: everybody arrives together, on time, in good shoes, and nobody spends the evening thinking about who is driving home.

An honest note on what this is
This is a small, owner-run chauffeur service with one car, not a fleet operator. There is no Rolls-Royce on the price list and no airport lounge partnership. What there is, is a well-kept vehicle, a driver who takes the job seriously, and a price agreed before you travel.
We would rather say that plainly than let you arrive expecting something else.

Can I book a Mercedes vehicle?
That is what we operate: a black Mercedes-Benz V-Class. It is the vehicle for every booking, so there is nothing to specify.
Is the car suitable for business travel?
Yes. The cabin is quiet enough for phone calls and there is room to open a laptop, which is most of what a working transfer needs.
Can we use the car for a wedding?
Yes. Tell us the timings, the addresses and whether the car is needed more than once during the day, and we will quote for the whole booking.
Do you offer a bigger or a different vehicle?
Not at the moment. We run one V-Class. If your group is too large for it, tell us and we will say so honestly rather than squeeze you in.
Is there a minimum booking?
No minimum duration. Short city rides and long alpine transfers are both quoted the same way, on the journey itself.
