Private versus shared
A shared airport shuttle is cheaper and works perfectly well if you have time. The trade is that it leaves when it is full, it drops four other parties before yours, and the route is decided by everybody's luggage but yours.
A private transfer removes all three. You leave at your time, you go straight there, and the only stop is the one you asked for.
When people book privately
The reasons repeat, and they are rarely about luxury.
- Travelling with children, a pram and the associated equipment.
- Early flights, where the difference between leaving at 04:40 and 05:10 is an hour of sleep.
- Business trips where the drive is working time and a phone call cannot be shared with strangers.
- Older relatives or anyone for whom a station changeover with cases is genuinely hard.
- Arriving somewhere for the first time, at night, in a language you do not speak.
Discretion, in practice
We do not repeat where we collected you, where we took you, or what was discussed on the way. This matters most to business travellers and to anyone whose plans are their own, and it costs nothing to simply hold to it.
It extends to the ordinary things too: we do not photograph the car with you in it, we do not use your name in anything public, and we do not ask what the meeting was about.
By the hour, as directed
Not every private booking is A to B. Some days are a series of stops with waiting in between: three meetings across the city, a property viewing tour, a wedding where the car is needed twice.
Tell us the shape of the day and we will quote for the whole of it rather than piece by piece. You keep the same car and the same driver throughout.

Will anyone else be in the car?
No. Every booking is exclusive to your party. We do not combine bookings or pick up additional passengers on the way.
Can I book the car for a whole day?
Yes. Tell us roughly what the day involves (the stops, the waiting, the rough timings) and we will quote for the day rather than for each leg.
Do you drive outside Zurich?
Regularly. Anywhere in Switzerland, and across the border by arrangement. Longer journeys are easier to plan with a few days' notice.
Can I request a specific pickup time window?
You can request an exact time. We plan to arrive a few minutes early and wait, rather than arriving on the minute and hoping.
How do I pay?
We agree the price and the payment method with you when we confirm the booking, before the day of travel. Nothing is charged before you have agreed it.
